SHRI Sant tukaram sugar factory

Shri Viduraji Vithoba alias Nanasaheb Navale is a visionary leader and a social activist who has dedicated his life to the development of agriculture, industry and sports in Maharashtra. He was born in Kasarsai-Darumbre, a hilly and undeveloped area in Pune district, where he witnessed the hardships of the rural masses. He completed his B.Com. degree from Pune University and started his career as a teacher. He soon became involved in various political and social movements, such as the Mulshi Taluka Panchayat Samiti, the Zilla Parishad Pune Agriculture Committee, the M.L.A. elections, the Pune District Congress Committee and the Parliament. He was elected as a Member of Parliament from Khed Lok Sabha in 1992 and served till 1997. He is currently the Founder and Chairman of Shree Sant Tukaram Co-op. Sugar Factory, Dist – Pune, which is one of the largest sugar factories in Maharashtra with a capacity of 3500 TCD. He is also the President of Maharashtra Wrestling Federation, which promotes wrestling among farmers and rural youth. He has received several awards and honors for his achievements in agriculture, industry and sports, such as the Gold Medalist in All India Inter University Wrestling, the Best Agricultural Development Award from the Government of Maharashtra, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Sugar Industry Association of India. He is also an avid reader, writer and speaker who shares his knowledge and experience with others. He is passionate about uplifting the poor agricultural masses and empowering them with education, health care and livelihood opportunities.
